Understanding what happened in The Netherlands during WWII is a big step towards integration. The museum Wings of Liberation is located in a rural area which was used by Operation Market Garden (September 1944) as drop zones for the parachutists and a landing zone for the gliders of US 101 Airborne Division.
Visit the museum and embark in a guided Battlefield Tour to feel the 'airborne experience' by seeing some of the key Market Garden locations near the museum and the town of Son. Of course, a language and culture assistant will be at your side for you make the most of this unique experience.
Due to the sensitive nature of the subject, it is not suitable for children under 12 years old.
